2003 Specialized S-Works FSR "Epic"

More than a dream

What it was

The "Epic" from Specialized is new for 2003 and has received some very good reviews. I wanted a new full suspension XC bike that had maximum performance and minimum weight. I did this by purchasing a frame-only kit from Greggs Bellevue Cycle and purchasing the individual components from Universal Cycles to meet my goal. The folks at Universal were awesome to work with. Here is a list of the components I used and some pictures of the bike during its construction. I took it to Greggs Bellevue Cycle after I finished building it and it weighed in at 24lbs.
